Biggest Hit(s): Linda Lu on Jamie Records recorded in July of 1959.

Scotty Moore

Born: Winfield Scott Moore, born December 27, 1931 in Gadsden, TN
Career: Elvis' lead guitarist, played on Elvis' first recordings at Sun records in 1954, played on all Elvis' first recording at RCA in 1956. Scotty Moore's guitar work was the sound behind Elvis that most surely helped to make Elvis famous. It is impossible to measure the influence Scotty Moore and his Guitar had on Elvis and his place in Rock n Roll history.
Current Status: Still performs, lives in Nashville.

D. J. Fontana

Born: Dominic Joseph Fontana, March 15, 1931 in Shreveport, LA
Career: "D. J." began his music career as staff drummer for the Louisiana Hay Ride in 1954. Became Elvis' drummer in 1956, played on all Elvis' first RCA recording's in 1956. Stayed with Elvis for over ten years.
Current Status: Still lives and performs in Nashville.

Biggest Hit(s): "Losing Game " recorded on DOT Records in 1957, also recorded for Sun records.

for many record companies down through the years. Currently records for Ten-O-Nine in Chicago.
Current Status: Performs regularly the world over. Matt and his Lovely wife Barbara when not performing spent time between their two Ranch's one in McAlpin,FL, and another in New Mexico.

Phil Phillips

Born: John Phillip Baptise, March 14 1931 in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Career: A member of The Gateway Quartet, in 1959 "Phil Phillips" wrote " Sea Of Love " which became a national hit on Mercury records.
Current Status: Phil lives in Lake Charles Louisiana, and still performs.

Barbara Lynn

Born: Barbara Lynn Ozon, Jan 16, 1942 in Beaumont, TX.
Career: Joe Berry saw Barbara performing in Vinton, Louisiana. He was impressed and took her to Huey Meaux in New Orleans where she recorded a song she had written "You'll Lose a Good Thing" at "Cosimo's Studio's." Jamie records in Philadelphia released the song, Barbara's biggest hit,. in May 1962.
Current Status: Barbara lives in Beaumont, TX and still
performs.
