Mike Black |
Born: Oklahoma City,
OK
Biography: Mike was one of the first artist to
pay a tribute to Elvis by singing the songs that made Elvis famous
by singing and performing on stage the way Elvis used to do. The
performance's were such a big hit for Mike he turned his entire
show into a Elvis tribute which he has performed for the last 25
years. Mike is a dynamic performer that keeps his fans coming back
for more. Mike and his band The Sting Rays perform to sell out crowds
all around the state of Oklahoma.
Current Status: Mike lives in Choctaw,Ok continues
to perform.

Dennis Mccall |
Born:
Biography:: One of the finest country music performers
in the business. Dennis sings with the Carol Lee singers and has
sang back up with almost every known name in country music for the
last 20 years. Dennis keeps busy in the recording studio with his
back up singing he is in demand for his fine distinguished polished
melody and rhythm that he adds to any song. Dennis' brother Darryl
McCall has also had an outstanding career as a country music singer.
Current Status: Dennis lives in Antioch,TN and
still performs.

Don Boner |
Born: Ft.Sill,Ok
June 3 1944.
Biography: At 13 don started his own record company,
CAR Records Inc. His first release on the label was " kidnapped
" a novelty recording that got lot of air play and was on juke
boxes all over Nashville and became the number one in Sparta, TN.
Over the next several years many recording's were made and released
including a Johnny and The Moonlighters cover of Hank Williams recording
" You Win Again " that made a bullet in Billboard Magazine.
Don wrote several songs with the late Vince Matthews
then moved from Nashville to work in radio as a DJ and sales in
Indiana. Along the way Don has been a deputy Sheriff and has worked
in Real Estate. Don has also worked at The New York Film Academy.
In 2002 Don established his film company wrote and directed three
short films " Ripple " " The Bumbling Detective ",
and " Welcome To Kentucky ". " Losers Lounge "
became Don's first feature film in 2004 his next feature film was
" Somewhere In Indiana " which premiered in Indianapolis,
In 2004.
Current Status: Don lives in Indianapolis and is
very active in screen writing, mystery novels, and producing feature
films.

Bob Sullivan |
Born: Shreveport,
LA.
Biography: Bob begin his career at KWKH in Shreveport
as chief engineer in 1946 after his discharge from the Army after
fighting in the pacific in WW ll. Bob was also chief engineer for
the Louisiana Hayride from it's beginning in 1948 through 1958.
Bob engineered Hank Williams first performance on the Hayride in
1948 and Elvis Presley's first performance on the Hayride in 1954.
Bob engineered Dale Hawkins famous recording of " Susie-Q "
at KWKH studio's in 1956 and Bob Luman's famous recording of "
Red Cadillac and Black Mustache ".
Down through the years Bob Sullivan has engineered
thousands of recording with some of the most famous names in country
music including Jim Reeves, Web Pierce, Faron Young, Johnny Horton,
David Houston, Slim Whitman, Bob Sullivan is considered the best
three track recording engineer in the business for getting the pure
sound of Rock n Roll the way it was recorded in the 50's.
Current Status: Bob is retired and lives in McAlester,
Ok, he often gets call to engineer a session for someone wanting
to recapture those famous sounds of the 50's.

Dale Wehba |
Born: Oklahoma
Biography:: Dale Wehba became a Disc Jockey in
the early 50's playing Rock n Roll. Dale could hear a recording
and knew if it would become a hit. Dale was a true innovator of
the new music called Rock n Roll his understanding of it made him
a big hit everywhere he worked. Each time Dale was program and music
director that station became number in the ARB ratings.
He became a top radio personality at the biggest radio stations
in Oklahoma City, KOCY, KOMA and WKY. His success brought him to
Detroit where he became a No. 1 Personality for many years. Moving
to Boston, he quickly became the No. 1 personality in the Boston
area. Dales knowledge of an artist and the public's reaction to
that artist songs has made Dale very successful in the music business.
Being able to break an unknown artist to the public with the before
hand knowledge the public will accept that artist music is a rare
quality. Dale Wehba has always understood the true relationship
of radio and music.
Current Status: Dale lives in Edmond, Ok and remains
active in the music industry.

Bobby Flores |
Born: Blanco,Texas
Biography: Bobby began his musical career at the
age of seven performing with his mother Mary Jane Flores. By the
time he was nine Bobby could play several instruments and was performing
professionally. At 13 Bobby formed his own band playing clubs and
fairs opening shows for Larry Gatlin, Conway Twitty, and a host
of other well known artist. By 1980 Bobby had recorded four singles
that charted regionally. He released his first album shortly afterward.
In 1981 he went to work for Johnny Bush as his fiddle player working
with several bands till 1988 when he formed another band "
Angel Fire " opening for Steve Warner, Vince Gill, George Strait,
Garth Brooks, Diamond Reo, Shenandoah, then moving on to perform
with Ray Price while opening shows for Lee Ann Rimes, Tracy Lawrence
and Collin Raye. Bobby played with Wille Nelson at several of his
famous 4th of July picnics starting in 1997 till 2001 in Luckenbach,
TX.
Current Status: Today Bobby lives in Blanco, TX,
fronts his own group, The Bobby Flores Band, and performs extensively
throughout the Southwest.

Bob Akers |
Born: Fayettville,
N.C.
Biography: Began his driving career with Overnite
Transportation Co in the early 60's. Bob could handle a truck better
than anyone when he was growing up in Fayettville working for different
companies while attending High School. Bob could back a tractor
and trailer into spots that seemed impossible for most drivers.
He could also back to a dock leaving only two or three inch's between
the dock
and the trailer and do it time after time plus backing into docks
on the blind side between trailers without putting a scratch on
either trailer.
Bob drove for thousands of miles without an accident out on the
road and in the city that's quite an accomplishment especially when
those thousands of accident free miles became Millions of miles
accident free. Bob has driven in every major city in America handing
the freeways and city streets to make deliveries to unknown destinations
with the least amount of problems backing his rig into spots that
would not accommodate a Volkswagen .
Bob transferred to Oklahoma City in 1979 and entered his first Truck
Rodeo and was soon winning time after time. In 2000 Bob was the
Oklahoma driver of the year to add to his National Truck Rodeo Championships
and his five Oklahoma State titles and another trip to compete in
the national truck rodeo where he took
the winners trophy in the twins division.
Bob Akers is one the nations most celebrated professional truck
drivers with more than 4 million miles of accident free driving
to his credit. The American Trucking Association ( ATA ) presented
Akers with it's Professional Excellence Award, the industry's highest
honor. Akers is a 39 year Overnite veteran ( UPS Freight ).
Current Status: Bob is retired and lives in Oklahoma
City.
Inducted: September 11, 2007 at the First Annual
Inductions Awards Ceremony in Oklahoma, City, OK. The former ATA
American Road Team Captain and Overnite All-Star Road Team Captain
is the only non- music industry inductee to be honored.
